Not much I can add to the title, except to give locations. This first one is from a farmhouse in the village of Yairoishi, up in the mountains of Iwami.
This is of the Tea Room at Kennin-Ji, the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto.
This is at Komyozen-Ji, a delightful small temple in Dazaifu, Fukuoka. It has my favorite temple garden.
Just a house in Tsuwano.
Never knew these windows still exist. I used to read a lot about them in our history that my country (Bangladesh) used to have them in 17th century. Very beautiful works they are and once again very nice capture

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to thank you, not just because the nice post, but pretty much more because my grandfather is nearly recovering from his surgery and he has almost nothing to do but staying on bed all day, his best source of entertainment has been this blog and I feel this is something good for him and his recovery.
